Appropriate Clients (for outpatient solo-practice)
My outpatient private practice is best suited for adult clients who have considered themselves stable for some time, but are looking for therapeutic tools to help them make the next transformational step with their lives. Those who do the best with me are comfortable with deep emotional work and tend to seek for the right therapy tools rather than the right medication.

I have found I cannot be very helpful for clients who are unable to contact me themselves. If you are seeking care on behalf of someone other than yourself (ie your child, sibling, friend, spouse, client etc.) please ask the prospective client review my website and contact me themselves if they feel I might be a good match for them.

Clients who are acutely unstable, are currently in crisis and are urgently looking for medication and therapeutic support to help stabilize their situation may be better served by a partial hospitalization program, or a more comprehensive outpatient program with multiple providers and emergency coverage (ie Fenway Health, Partners Healthcare, Cambridge Health Alliance).

Exceptions can be made for clients of IFS therapists I know who are being specifically referred to me for IFS medication support.

People with severe substance-use disorders may benefit more from a program that provides drug screening and group support, which I do not have available.
